The Community Center is an event space that the City was looking to renew and offer as the place to go for event space.  It is flexible enough to accommodate businesses, organizations, schools, churches and families.  The vision is to support meetings, conferences, gatherings, fundraising events, parties, family reunions and even weddings.  The visioning includes renovations of the existing space by opening up the kitchen to the conference center space, an updated interior with exposed structure, polished concrete floors and new lighting.  The exterior design includes a new garden wall with gateways highlighted by cedar, lit pathways, pedestrian benches and updated landscaping.  It also incorporated modern pergolas and sitting areas overlooking a new playground for kids.
